A poster is any piece of printed paper designed to be attached to a wall or vertical surface. Typically posters include both textual and graphic elements, although a poster may be either wholly graphical or wholly text. Posters are designed to be both eye-catching and informative.

AMS Poster Gallery Contest poster about promotion of city comunication. AMS is one of billboard company, who had amazing idea (also in economical aspect), if billboards and city-lights R empty, they use in that places posters from AMS' contests, which R organized every year.
Our concept should be showing speed and capacity of city tramps, so we show that tramp is for the city the same as jet in the sky - many places and very quick, but probably jurors didnt understand that idea :)

I’ve been wanting to do a poster series (Focusing on some of my favorite directors) for a while now, but until this week, I didn’t know who to kick it off with. Over the weekend one of my favorites, legendary director Sidney Lumet passed away at the age of 86. For those of you not familiar with his work, he’s given us amazing classics like Dog Day Afternoon, Network, Serpico, The Verdict and 12 Angry Men. His memoir, Making Movies, was one of the first directing books I read in film school and is still considered a key tool for an insider’s account of the pivotal elements of filmmaking.
Lumet made his feature-directing debut with 12 Angry Men, which also earned him an Oscar Nomination. The film is about a dissenting juror (Henry Fonda) in a murder trial who convinces the other 11 that the case isn’t as clear-cut as it seems. I watched and studied this classic countless times in college, but until two weeks back, I hadn’t seen it in years. Seems fitting to have 12 Angry Men jumpstart my poster series, and also think it’s the perfect way for me to say thank you to a director who’s had an enormousness influence on me. Enjoy.
