It is definitely a designer is an artist as well. 'Artist' meant not only as an expressive artist, but also communicative with all their creativity so that audiences can accept what is presented as appropriate.
Innovative Inventors
Designers are inventors. They found a wide range of visual solutions for the client. Certainly different clients require different solutions, too. Therefore, the designer is the inventor of an innovative and constantly trying to find better solutions than before.
A trusted counselor
A designer must also be able to become a 'vent' for the clients of visual problems that they faces. And you can be assured that your'vent'will not leak into the wrong hands (of course you want to deal with a credible designer only).

Did you ever realize that Nike or Adidas logo has a bunch of of philosophy? Yep, it is also the brainchild of a graphic designer and common sense dictates that such thinking is one important factor to become a designer.
Intelligent Marketer
A designer must understand the market. Because if they don't, there are ideas and messages that can not be communicated properly. The most simple example, what would happen if Starbucks is in fact intended for the business using the icon on Sour Sally as Sally? Maybe the audience will think Starbucks has changed the orientation of a beverage store for the children.
A Persuasive Presenter
How can clients be interested in the work of a designer if they can not present it properly. Therefore, a designer who is also a persuasive in convincing his client.
Communicative narrator
Designers are the narrator. They tell you things that emerged from their visualization results to the audience. It's very unique! designers do not need to tell it verbally, but only relying on its visual elements.
