Offer Price in a Professional Way

Besides the price factor, portfolio and our experience as a graphic designer, design attractive invoice or quotation also indirectly affect the client's decision to cooperate with us now, or later

Based on my experience, I really felt the difference between the price bid (quote) by simply typing an email, and by using a quote that was designed with interesting (may be in Jpeg or Pdf). Of course its better results with a quote that in the design, clients deal directly and pay down 25-50% of the total price that I offer. Very different if only using the line of words via email, usually the client will bid

Here there are 2 reasons why clients are usually offered (or may be refused) the price we offer

Description and scope of services is less clear

Usually we only give the total price for a Project, so clients do not know the process in which we live in it any projects. This habit of human beings, we like things more detail when it comes to spending money.

Inappropriate price type

For overseas clients, they tend to be more happy and more accustomed to using the rate per hour. Plus if we have to breakdown what we will do, and how much time will we spend to go through each of those activities. For example, Sketch = 2 hours, wireframe / Information Architecture = 3 hours, and so on

But there is also wanted in a practical way, they just want to know the total price directly. My advice, for more convincing prospective clients we'd better just to breakdown of our activities. Because in the end the total price will also be the same, even in some cases wearing the type of price per hour will be more profitable.
